  • Samsung's Galaxy S8 is Now Available in Burgundy Red

The latest color introduction to the Samsung Galaxy S8 is the burgundy Red. It's unclear if we will see a Stateside release. The individuality of this device is that it features edge-to-edge display. Samsung Electronics recently lowered its 128GB Galaxy S8 Plus price from United States $1065 to U.S. $1757. Samsung, however, will still be holding an official Galaxy S9 announcement event in March, according to Blass. The rumors make a ton of sense given that Samsung's now in the process of testing the operating system on the device's predecessor.

Everything else about the Galaxy S8 remains the same.

Samsung announced a new color for the Galaxy S8 this week, with initial availability starting today in South Korea. To recall, Samsung Galaxy S8 had a screen-to-body ratio of 84%. In any case, as indicated by the report of Galaxy Club, Galaxy S9 is being tried on Android 8.0.0 and not Android 8.1, which is in the beta stage for even Google's Pixel gadgets. Business Korea reports that LG is also looking to release a new smartphone - the G7 - in January, and notes the "possibility that the fingerprint sensor may be mounted under the display, not on the back". As a result, the company is now likely to launch the device earlier than usual by pushing it to as early as January.

The Galaxy S9 has been the subject of numerous rumors and reports in recent months. It has been claimed by some insiders that Samsung submitted an application for a patent involving an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Other specifications on the handset include a choice of 64GB or 128GB of storage, the handset also comes with a 3500 mAh battery and Android Nougat, plus the device features front and rear cameras.

Samsung will supposedly launch two models, a Galaxy S9 (SM-G960) and a Galaxy S9+ (SM-G965).
